Toastmasters "just for fun" makan on 23rd January 2011

A few PD Toastmasters members got together to have "just for fun' makan. It was a small affair. 8 Toastmasters went and two former members namely P K Koh and Koh Seow Pen joined us. Our makan at the Regent in Seremban coincided with a wedding dinner that nite and instead of letting it affect us, we joined in the wedding fun. We "yam seng" and make a lot of noise too. Below are four photos to capture those moments and record it here in the blog forever.

Meeting on 25th January 2011

The second meeting of the new year took off on 25th January 2011. Below are some photos of those precious moments for rememberance. These photos are taken with the cameraman's new camera. The previous camera dropped and is forever put out of action.

ACB Donna Kat was Table topics master.

First to be called was TM Indra.

Next it was our silver haired guy, the ever eloquent Robert Tan.

TM Chandran was next.

Immediate Past President Kala was not spared either.

Our in house resident Dr, was also called during Tabletopics.

Table topics evaluation was done by TM Kay Ku.

Our newest member, TM Shaharin, broke the ice that nite. Shaharin was good, his English was OK. He only needs to overcome his nervousness. Hey! Thats the job of Toastmasters. To help him overcome his nervousness. Welcome to the Club dear Shaharin.

TM Indra G gave a talk on Breeding Cows as a possible business and the problems involved.

Food was late. We ate after TM Shaharin's speech to save time.

After the break, Tm Kenneth took to the stage, giving us tips on holidaying.

The TOE, TM Amy Siew, looks relax and elegant, pondering and reflecting.

The timing lights chose the wrong time to break down. Luckily, TM Rosa saved the day by using the coloured cards.

TM Chua Eu Chieh spoke about the horrors of taking exams. It was satisfying for us, knowing a brainy guy like him also had problems with exams. Ha ha. Thanks for making us, non brainy ones, feel good.
